First Look At Spice Girls Tour Outfits By Roberto Cavalli

The preparations for the Spice Girls Reunion Tour are well under way, including the designing of their outfits. Due to Victoria Beckham’s connections, the best of the outfits will be designed by world-famous Roberto Cavalli. Below is just one of the designs that they are considering:

Cavalli designs

In effort to keep with tradition, you can see that the designs have Geri sporting her Union Jack dress, something that she got extremely known for. Mel B also has her traditional animal print outfit, as well as Baby Spice Emma with her pink dress. Only Mel C has shed her previous image of tracksuits and trainers for something more feminine.

Still, it seems to me that Victoria Beckham looks to be taking centre stage, with her outfit being miles more attention grabbing than the rest of them. Is this because she is the one who is friends with Cavalli? Or maybe because she was the Spice Girl that stayed in the limelight the most after the split. Whatever the reasons, the designs are still gorgeous, and I for one can’t wait to see them once they are made.

Megaupload – a site to send large files with ease – A Review

Megaupload : the leading online storage and file delivery service

What do you do when you have a large file that you want to email to someone, but it would just take too long to upload onto an email, or it’s just too big for the system to cope with?

When this happened to me, I looked around for alternative methods, and the best one that I found was Megaupload.

There are basically 5 simple steps:

1) Select the file that you want to upload

2) Enter the recipient’s email address

3) Enter your email address – OPTIONAL (for the purpose of being notified when the file is sent)

4) Enter a description of the file – OPTIONAL

5) Tick a box agreeing to the terms and conditions

This is all on the main page, it’s fast and easy to find, you don’t have to navigate around the site at all, which is a big plus point.

After this, the file will begin uploading. The page will provide you information on how fast it is uploading as well as how much time is remaining. Also, if you use tabbed browsing, you can browse on other tags and on the megaupload tag, instead of saying Megaupload, it will state the percentage of completion of the upload of your file.

I’ve used this site three times now and have found them to be fast and reliable. They also have additional services that require you to pay, and if I was ever to need something like that, I wouldn’t hesitate in using Megaupload.

Death On Wisteria Lane – A Desperate Housewives Spoiler (S04E09)

Desperate Housewives

December the 2nd is when the next episode of Desperate Housewives airs (Season 4, Episode 09), and this one has created a huge amount of speculation.

The strike has hit TV shows hard, especially comedies, where changes are made on the spot once the writers can see what works and what doesn’t. With dramas such as Desperate Housewives, it’s a different story. The storyline is drawn out over time, and the upcoming episode is said to be full of action.

Not much is known about it…except for the fact that Wisteria Lane will be hit by a TORNADO. This only spells one thing…Death. It is not yet certain who is going to die.

Could it be Lynette? Who just won the battle over cancer

Or maybe Bree? Who is striving to make her new baby live a perfect life

Or how about Gaby? Who just found out that Victor is alive and remembers that she and Carlos tried to kill him.

Maybe it’s Edie. Carlos did want someone to finish her off , maybe the tornado isn’t what causes the death.

It could also be one of the husbands…or the new family that have moved in…

I know for certain that I will definitely be looking forward to watching that episode.

Nintendo Wii compared to Xbox 360 – an owner’s review

Nintendo Wii

Having played on an Xbox 360 for countless hours, and owning a Nintendo Wii, there are so many differences between the two that it’s hard to differentiate all of them. But let me try and give you a few:

  1. The main difference would obviously be the way in which the games are played. With the Xbox 360, you use a standard Xbox controller, and with the Wii, you use the Wii remote with/without the nunchuk. If you have been used a more standard controller in the past, the Wii is a fun new alternative. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, you realise that there’s so much more to it than just waving the remote in different directions – different movements produce different results.
  2. The games that are made from each are quite different in a lot of ways. A great way to describe this is written in my Review of Need For Speed ProStreet for the Wii. Just look at the section on the gameplay with the Wii remote, which I found to be quite lacking. Nevertheless, it is a much easier game to play on a more standard controller.
Still, there are some games made for the Wii that just wouldn’t keep your attention on an Xbox 360. When I first saw Wii Sports, I thought it wouldn’t be that great compared to the other “real” games out there. But after playing a big variety, my all time favourite to play with others is still Wii Sports.
  3. Playing on a Wii definitely requires more energy than playing on an Xbox 360. With the Xbox, you can just sit still, with just your fingers moving on the controller. For the Wii, depending on which game you are playing, there are many different hand movements that you would have to make, it’s very rare for you to be able to sit still.
  4. I’ve heard many things about the difference in graphics between the two consoles. However, in my opinion, I feel that it doesn’t really bother me that much, as I can’t really tell the difference to such a great degree. I think one of the reasons to this is because gameplay is more important to me than the graphics, but if this is the other way around for you, then you may need to do some research into the difference of graphics quality.
  5. No matter what is said about the Xbox 360, the Wii is still definitely the best option when in a social situation. It is a great console to have at a party or a gathering, and there is a HUGE variety of games that are great for when there are lots of people wanting to play.

If you are in the process of deciding between the two, you really shouldn’t only take someone else’s opinion on the matter. What should be the deciding factor is what is most important to YOU? I think that the two main answers to that are either: a) a more light and fun gameplay OR b) better graphics and quality of the games.

Samantha Who? – Season 1 Episode 7 – The Hockey Date

Samantha Who?

Samantha Who? began this season and focuses on a woman who has amnesia, and who basically has to relearn her life along the way. She discovers that she didn’t used to be a very nice person, and works hard at trying to make the new her an improved version.

I really enjoyed this show when it first began, and thought that the first few episodes were really well thought out and full of action. As I finish watching the latest (7th) episode, I realise that it just doesn’t keep my attention as much as it used to.

At the beginning, the concept of following the life of a modern woman with amnesia was really interesting, but sometimes the ideas in the episodes seem very unimaginative. Take the most recent episode for example, I wasn’t exactly sure what the main point of it was. The fact that Samantha met a guy was great, and was something that was introduced at the appropriate time. But the way in which she spends the whole episode complaining, yet again, about how she doesn’t remember anything, gets really tiring. At the end of the episode, she tells her new guy that she has amnesia and is learning everything again, and that seems to be the whole climax of the episode, which was really disappointing.

At the start, Samantha seemed much less whiny, and is more energetic and eager to find out about her life. As the show has been continuing, she has become much more dependent on everyone else, and the fiery character that grabbed my attention in the first episode seems to be slipping away.
