Having had loads of PSP games, there wasn’t one that I had gotten ‘addicted’ to until I bought Pursuit Force.
It’s hard to say whether it’s a driving game or a shooting game, as there are elements of both present.
The game is split into many different sections, meaning that you can concentrate fully on each task and come up with good strategies.
You play the part of a cop and throughout the game, you get the chance to drive cars, trucks, motorbikes, boats, and helicopters, as well as trying to destruct them in most tasks.
The controls are quite simple in this game, and I think that is definitely one thing that makes the game more addictive, as you have to focus more on strategy and technique.
Having said all this, I must admit that I never completed the game. After completing about half of it, for some reason the game got insanely hard, and I really hate it when games do that. The dozens of walkthroughs that are available online still didn’t seem to help me. I even went back to the store and asked the staff if they knew how to complete it, and they said they gave up towards the middle as well.
I’m still glad I bought the game though, it was really fun while I was able to play it! The video below shows what I feel is the best perspective on playing the game.
